VCF WORLD: "Métele un gol a la pobreza" campaign returns at Christmas to collect toys for children in need
The VCF Foundation and the Valencian Institute of Creative Pedagogy (IVAPEC) join forces again for Christmas and launch the educational and toy collection campaign "Métele un gol a la pobreza", which in this 2023, with the slogan "La historia continúa" (The story continues), celebrates its 19th edition. In 2022, around 17,000 toys were collected.
This solidarity action continues its tradition to help those most in need: children who have the right to play and who do not have an easy time receiving a toy, a toy with which to enjoy, laugh and, in short, be a child.
Toys (new or used in good condition) can be deposited in a giant chest installed in the Plaza Interior of Nuevo Centro until December 23 (12-14h and 18-20h).
Each person who delivers toys will be entered into a draw for two tickets to the Valencia CF - Villarreal CF match on January 2.
Together with Fundació VCF and IVAPEC, "Métele un gol a la pobreza" has the invaluable support of El Corte Inglés, Nuevo Centro, Ayuntamiento de Valencia and UE.
This work of the Valencian entity responds to the VCF World decalogue, a project of Valencia CF in favor of, among other values, commitment and social sustainability, since there is much to be done and not everyone has the same opportunities in life.
